What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to give owners information about how the site is used.

How Nexrole uses cookies

We use cookies sparingly. Nexrole has no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics that follow you across the web. The cookies we set fall into two categories:

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the service to function. You cannot opt out of these without also being unable to use the service.

CookiePurposeExpires
next-auth.session-tokenKeeps you logged in to your Nexrole account. Set by NextAuth.js.30 days
next-auth.csrf-tokenCross-site request forgery protection. Ensures form submissions come from our site.Session
next-auth.callback-urlRemembers where to redirect you after you log in (e.g. back to the billing page).Session

No tracking or advertising cookies

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking cookies. We do not track your behaviour across other websites. We do not serve targeted advertising.

Any performance monitoring we do is anonymous aggregate data (e.g. which API routes are slow) with no connection to individual users.

How to control cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View which cookies are set
  • Delete existing cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all third-party cookies

Note: deleting or blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will log you out of Nexrole and you will need to sign in again. The service will not function if session cookies are blocked.

Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce new cookies (for example, if we add analytics in the future), we will update this page and notify you in advance.
